VL Parker is a Spirit Led Artist, Author and Poet, who engages in expressive arts as a spiritual practice. Albert Einstein said, “Art is standing with one hand extended into the universe and one hand extended into the world and letting ourselves be a conduit for passing energy.” Spirt-led creatives engage in art and explore being that conduit of passing energy. As a Christian creative VL invites the Great Spirit of our Creator in and trusts that the Spirit of God will inspire her and co-create with her.
Other terminology for this form of artistic expression is known as Co-creating, Prophetic Art, Spiritually Inspired Art, Spiritually Intuitive Art, Spiritually Expressive Art and more. Parker prefers Spirit Led Art whether engaging in painting, writing of poetry, fiction or any other creative expression.
Parker is also a public speaker, coach, and facilitator who works with a team of trauma specialists at Sana Corda where VL walks with survivors on their healing journey through the Spiritually Expressive Arts and helps Leaders walk with survivors and begin their own Spiritually Expressive Community for healing hearts through the arts. VL also runs her own courses and workshops for teaching others this practice in a community of spiritually creative expression.
